I recently came across a book titled, Nobody wants to read you sh*t. I thought, maybe I should read that! It turned out the book is about writing novels and screenplays—neither of which I will be trying anytime soon.
I prefer to write very short pieces about topics that seem misunderstood, or certain points of view under-expressed. Often the topics are ones that I myself didn't understand until I looked into them. I find the writing helps sharpen my communication skills. Whether you find the reading rewarding is, of course, up to you.
